Welcome to our new year with the Men's Club! We have lot's fun programming planned for the coming year!

Raising the Sukkah!

Join the CNT Men's Club on Sunday, October 9 at 9:00 a.m. for our annual tradition of raising the Sukkah! It's fun, it's easy, and you can do as little or as much as you want!

The Sukkah is used by the religious school, the preschool, and the entire synagogue! It's a great mitzvah, and a lot of fun!

A nice bagel breakfast is also served! See you there!


MItzvah Day Event: BBQ Lunch for the Homeless War Vets

Sunday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m.the Homeless War Veterans of Clark County, and cook a BBQ lunch for everyone. Even folks who don't stay at the facility come join us. Last year we had over 200 guests, and everyone had a wonderful time.

Burgers and Dogs and all the fixins!

So, come join us! We'll be showing up at the facility about 10:30 a.m. or so. For those who want to car pool from the Synagogue, come join us about 9:30 a.m. or so, and we grab some supplies and share rides!

We also donate clothes all year long, so bring clean clothes you don't want...these folks really appreciate the support!

If you want to show up at the facility, it is located on the southeast corner of Eastern and Bonanza, at 525 East Bonanza. Please join the CNT Men's Club for our monthly breakfast meeting on October 23 at 9:30 a.m. in the Social Hall. Our guest speaker is our own Harry Fagel, Las Vegas police officer and published poet.

Harry will chat with us about life with the Las Vegas Police Department, current crime trends, his perspective on terrorism, and life as a Jewish Cop Poet! Harry will share his thoughts (and some poetry) in a lively and candid presentation.

This will be a great breakfast meeting you do not want to miss!
