Men's Club is an active contributor to our congregation's vitality. Its role is to help the men of the temple grow personally while become involved in Jewish life. Our membership has exploded to almost 120 today. Our success is a result of catering to the needs of our membership... asking "What more can we do to make ourselves more relevant". We have created monthly breakfasts to discuss issues of interest. Over bagels and lox we have talked politics with our local congressional representative, delved into Jewish history in Nevada, found out about improving our health and visited informally with the Rabbi. The list of subjects and speakers keeps growing. We also play! Men love golf and we have a golf tournament each spring which welcomes all levels of golfers. We party! We've had a great time on Lake Mead Cruises. We dance, eat and have a blast. For our men's club to be successful it must also contribute to the success of our congregation and community. Activities raise money and provide manpower. We have donated beautiful torah crowns, bought children's prayer books, sent kids on learning experiences, and helped support the scholar in residence program. We have also supported Jewish community activities such as the Jewish Family Services Food Bank. When you join, we know you will meet friends and find activities you will enjoy.
